It's even worse when the fanfiction is about the celebrity themselves, as happens with singers. If it's already uncomfortable for an actor to see this about the characters they play, imagine if it's about them personally?
I wish this was never normalized... As someone who worked as a pr manager in the past for many celebs, they really get uncomfortable with fanfics. While some of them want to engage with fandoms, most of them don't want to know about you writing NSFW stories of their characters.
@burning_marcos@icatopia That's such a big lie, it seems like you don't know that in real life women have been fighting against the abuse of power by heterosexual men for centuries, they don't accept gay men having the same behavior as heterosexual men and suddenly they are the ones in the wrong?
We know that dark-skinned characters are portrayed as white because of racism, but what makes some artists make them gray? Do these people have vision problems?
@Samir467041 Your dislike of heterosexuals won't stop them from attending Pride to support the people they love, as long as you don't bother people about it. You can hate heterosexuals as much as you want.
This is simply a non-issue because nobody will know, nobody will kick you out unless you're homophobic. Pride isn't exclusive to LGBT people; it's the most normal thing in the world for allies to be involved. Guys don't let the internet distort your view of the real world.
No, a bisexual woman with her bf at pride is not hurting anyone,if anything it shows that queer ppl exist in different fronts.
and that bf could also be queer, trans, nonbinary,ace/aro, intersex or also bi whatever
This argument is similar to the one men use to blame women who end up in toxic relationships: "most women like trashy men, it's a pattern, that's why women are no good."
Not to be messy but why do y’all assume that bisexual women are going out of their way to date violently homophobic men… and also why would you assume that a queer person (bi women) would be safe with said man lmao. How does that make sense?
Misogyny. And they also think bisexual men are gay because who would prefer a woman over men, and they think bisexual women are heterosexual because who would prefer a woman over a man? The idea of genuinely loving a woman doesn't exist for them.
