Folks are talking hours, and I'll share my one oft-shared pieces of advice: The marginal cost of each hour after a certain point is higher and higher. The delta between 2000 and 2100 isn't 100 hours. It's nights, weekends, and holidays away. Judge firms accordingly.
.@ChrisEvans is trading his superhero suit for a spacesuit as he is all set to voice the character Buzz Lightyear in an upcoming animated prequel to the hit ‘Toy Story’ franchise

I have no doubt that the people working on this have love for the character(s) involved, but I really wish this wasn't happening. And I'm really not looking forward to the Solo-esque scene where he gets his surname because he traveled a lightyear to enlist in Star Command.
I don't want to see Buzz Lightyear go through basic space training in an apparently grittied-up version of the character. And I don't want Chris Evans, who I like, to voice him doing it.
The connection is obvious, superhero movies do origin stories, so now we get "lightyear."

In one of my favorite Lawyerpreneur interviews yet, @Haley_Altman talks about how even though she liked practicing at the firm where she had just become an equity partner, she knew she'd regret passing up the opportunity to be the CEO of her startup. https://t.co/rKEkkFMYAe
For instance, while out at a bar (pre-covid) with friends, and one of my friends complains that the bar we are at got rid of a formerly fun, but very intoxicating practice, I have to hold my tongue or risk letting out that a lawyer I work with was involved in that DUI case.
The chief difference between lawyers and non-lawyers is that, whenever we see one of those weird warnings like "do not use [powertool] on [living thing]" we probably know one of the people who was involved in the underlying suit.
In Episode 16 of Lawyerpreneur, we talk with M.C. Sungaila about developing your business and your reputation. We also explore the topic of operating out of an abundance mindset, rather than a place of fear and scarcity. Go check it out. https://t.co/Q6tS2GwUQN #lawtwitter
