So just to get my head straight and so I’m clear: the first pic is an act of terrorism and the second is an act of protest…… Have I got that correct??🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️🤸🏾♀️
The debate about British military spending begins with a premise, hardly ever challenged, that too little is spent on defence.
But the facts are very different.
Britain spends more on the military than every large economy in NATO, except the USA.
Every time you think Anglo discourse on the military can’t get anymore absurd you get “Energy bills would go down if we were more involved in the conflicts that are raising our energy bills” because the solution to the Straits being closed is that Iran wasn’t bombed enough.
Jeremy Johnson - in 50 years time this will be the only 1.39 minutes of your life you'll be remembered for. It'll be played in genocide museums to sum up the complicity and callous brutality of the British state in the face of the slaughter of the Palestinian people - and the courage of those who opposed it.
“Capitalism made your iPhone.”
LABOR made your iPhone. Labor makes things under any -ism. The -isms only determine who is paid and how much they are paid.
Also notice how our corporate media & appalling political class have failed to describe masked fascist militia setting homes on fire as ‘terrorists’ and compare that with anti-genocide/fascism protests.
Fascism always begins with the weaponisation of language !
