THANK YOU!!!!!
Where did the athletic ability go?
Clutch hitting in the 8th and 9th inning?
Starting pitching that goes 8 or 9 innings?
Base stealing-hell just good base running and SPEED?!?
Sac bunts-moving runners over late in a game?
Where’s Tony Gwynn? Rod Carew?
Wade Boggs? Ichiro?
Those guys wouldn’t exist in today’s ridiculous HR or K “launch angle” game!
The game has been dying with the youth of America for YEARS and now is losing the core fanbase as well with this ridiculous product we’ve had to digest for the last 7-10 years.
Bring back Small Ball and athleticism…this shit dreadful!!!
On June 5, the Orioles won 13-3 over Toronto to improve to only two games below .500.
The Orioles have since gone 8-13 with only one series win (over the Dodgers) to fall to 39-46 on the season.
Baltimore is now 3 1/2 games back of a playoff spot — and could be 4 games soon.
And it happened again.
Jays, A’s, Rangers and Twins all lose for the second straight night.
Another missed opportunity for the Birds.
The American League is jam packed full of mediocre teams, and that’s why none of us can stop watching the dumpster fire every night. #Orioles
The Orioles starting rotation has a 3.27 ERA since May 22nd, which ranks 2nd in MLB. That followed the low point of the season after being swept at the Trop to fall eight games below .500. Prior to May 22nd, their ERA ranked 28th with a 5.11.
Trevor Rogers ended May with a 6.84 ERA. Here's what Rogers has done in June:
5.2 innings, 1 run
5.2 innings, 3 runs
6 innings, 2 runs
7 innings, 0 runs
That's a 2.22 ERA and 0.945 WHIP this month.
Exactly two years ago, on June 20, 2024, the Orioles clobbered the Yankees for a 17-5 win in the Bronx.
Baltimore boasted a 49-25 record following that victory after winning 101 games the year before. Mike Elias later referenced June 2024 as when the Orioles were "on top of the sport in almost every facet."
Since that win, the Orioles went 42-46 to finish the 2024 campaign; 75-87 last season; and are now 35-42 this year after losing five of their past six.
In total, that is a 152-175 record. That marks a .465 winning percentage — or a 75-win pace over a 162-game season.
J.R. Smith says retirement made him realize how much money he wasted: “Why did I have 7 cars?”
“Half the shit I bought in the last 10 years, I barely use. I pretty much wear the same golf outfits every day”
“Even the watches. Buying all these fancy ass watches and shit, I don't wear them. I don't go anywhere to wear them”
“To me, I think, why did I spend all this money on stuff that I don't really use? But not only that, I don't really care about”
“I had seven cars at one point and we were in Cleveland. I'm like, ‘Why did I have seven cars?’”
Blaze Alexander hit his first home run of the season on May 27.
Here’s what he’s done in 17 games since that day:

.750 SLG (6th in MLB)
1.270 OPS (2nd in MLB)
Primary shortstops in the live ball era (1920-present) with four 15+ HR seasons at 25 or younger:
Willie Wells (HoF)
Cal Ripken Jr. (HoF)
Alex Rodriguez
Hanley Ramírez
Francisco Lindor
Carlos Correa
Bobby Witt Jr.
Gunnar Henderson*

There have been 48 total 5-game spans by teams in NBA history (reg or post) where they led by 8+ points at the end of the first quarter in all 5.
In 47 of the 48, the team had a winning record over the 5 games.
All except the Spurs in the 2026 NBA Finals.
They went 1-4.
Spurs will prob be back cause of Wemby but that stage and moment was entirely too big for them. They all turned into choke artists when it mattered. Nobody could shoot, hit free throws, do anything. Wemby disappeared. Total collapse every game. No accident. Exactly what I predicted. The veteran team held composure. Young team choked.
Larry on line at security makes a joke "do you really need to search me, you think I'm gonna be the one who does it?" And ends up in Secret Service custody for the entirety of the game, asking each interrogator as they come into the room for an update on the score of the game
