1. A friend just sent me this video where people had gathered to protest the police shooting of 20yo Tekle Sundberg by Minneapolis SWAT snipers after a standoff in which he was shooting at people in his apt building. This woman said he tried to kill her.

Excellent thread. What I would add is that the GOP has established a rock-solid brand around a set of specific issues and images. "Character" and "values" flow from the brand, so just about any body will do. Dems have none of that. Fetterman found a one-off issue, in this case.

Of course, much of the left seems to entertain racial essentialism today, too. I'm with him for not wanting to be any part of that. And I agree with his current analysis, critique, and proposals. But again, man, going to the AEI. Come on.
