It’s a big sports night for our friends across the state. But #stlproud tonight, too. Two of the biggest names in sports broadcasting that came out of #STL314 - Buck and Costas - are calling the games on @espn and @TBSNetwork.
Wishing the best to my friend and former #STL radio journalism colleague, @KMOXKevin. Quite a career at @kmoxnews. He has left his mark. https://t.co/qUTqFXzaCP
Another iconic voice has left the NPR airwaves. Silvia Poggioli has kept listeners informed for more than 40 years with her distinctive delivery and assured writing. She will be missed. 🥲 https://t.co/oJ30yuDzd1
We got news today that our longtime @NPR colleague Wade Goodwyn has died at 63 after a long bout with cancer. No one was better at spinning a yarn. His rich voice awed listeners who'd write in and say, honestly, they'd listen to him read the phonebook.🎧

Great day for a ribbon-cutting with Governor Mike Parson at @STLCC Forest Park campus. The new Child Development Laboratory Center looks fantastic! #stl#HigherEd

He was our voice, our friend, and an icon for generations.
We are heartbroken to learn of the passing of Cardinals legend and St. Louis native son Mike Shannon.
Dick Groat, a shortstop in baseball and a guard in basketball, was among the few to play both sports professionally but stayed on the diamond to win two World Series, died yesterday at a Pittsburgh hospital. He was 92. https://t.co/vnCHlDLY8K
