Mercifully, the delusion and drivel from the Boastmaster General of the United States lasted only 18:29 last night. Wouldn't it be great if the head of the Executive Branch didn't sound as if he were an inarticulate teenager (or senile old man, for that matter)?
FCC Chairman Brendan Carr's threat of non-renewal of broadcasters' FCC licenses for broadcast news he and the Trump Admin don't like shows there has never been a better time to transfer ownership of the spectrum to broadcasters and abolish the Federal Communications Commission.
The Wall Street Journal today called for the repeal of the Jones Act. I agree. It is an insidious form of corporate welfare that need to go--permanently.
You've got to give Donald Trump credit for at least one thing in his State of the Union Address last night. He takes intelligence insulting to a whole new level.
Please vote for the entire Libertarian Party statewide candidate slate in Illinois today. If one of our candidates gets 5%+ of the vote, it will make it easier for Libertarian candidates to get on the ballot in future elections.
Thank you for your support and votes!
I went to @SenDuckworth campaign website. There is no Issues page at all. All candidates need to let the public know where they stand on the important issues of the day, and @SenDuckworth fails at that.
I'm not a day late and a dollar short today if I wish my former U of Chicago professor and current Libertarian running mate (for Comptroller of Illinois) Deirdre McCloskey Happy 80.003!
It's been said that government's dirty little secret is that it redistributes income upward, not downward. That often appears to be true, especially today

What does it say about the R's & D's when the Federal Government has such huge budget deficits, and they can't even end Saturday mail delivery to save a few bucks? No hope with them. Vote Libertarian. Vote Redpath for US Senate from Illinois.
If you really wanted to do something for democracy, you would publicly urge your party, which controls the legislature and Governor's office, to change IL's repressive ballot access laws, which systematically blocks candidates from the ballot and reduces options for voters.
The strength of our democracy depends on the participation of the American people.
That’s why I re-introduced the PROVE Act to ensure every young American can pre-register earlier so they're ready to vote as soon as they turn 18.
