Nothing like seeing it live—our Earth Day Hawk Release in action! As Conrad spread his wings and took flight, our students witnessed the beauty of nature and the importance of protecting it. A powerful moment we won’t forget. 🦅🌎 #EarthDay
Love that our musical inspired the naming of this year's hawk!! Thanks to my class for thinking about singing Bye Bye Birdie when it was released, and then thinking of naming the bird Conrad!
We proudly celebrated Earth Day with our Hawk Release, a reminder of the importance of protecting wildlife. This year’s hawk, Conrad (inspired by Bye Bye Birdie), soared into the sky as a symbol of freedom, care, and our commitment to animals and the environment. 🦅 #EarthDay
@Matt_Pinner 19 1/2 for sureused a boombox to play music but not sure I ever did outside. If the added ones in that one comment I’m 3/4…no slide rule!
@lorenlong My third graders *loved* The Yellow Bus, and it was one of our honor books for our mock Caldecott. They were quite annoyed at the real committee for not giving it anything! Can’t wait for your next book!
