Stories that I’ve heard around the country from women born in the 1950s who have been unfairly hit by the Tory rise in the state pension age have been heartrending. We will compensate them. This is about making sure people get justice.
Boris Johnson described gay people as "bumboys", compared equal marriage to three men marrying a dog, discussed beating up a journalist with a criminal, called black people "piccaninnies" with "watermelon smiles", and was sacked twice for dishonesty.
Where is the scrutiny?
In 2011, it was Labour Unions campaigning with the Labour Party who stood against the unfair increase to the women's pension age, when it was forced through by the Tory and Lib Dem coalition.
Now it's Labour who are promising to right this wrong.

The Conservatives' 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 pause of fracking is an election stunt to try and win a few votes.
Boris Johnson described fracking as ‘glorious news for humanity’. We cannot trust him.
Labour would ban fracking. That's real change.
People with two residences such as students can register in either or both (but only vote in one). Cast vote where it will be most effective.
Deadline for registration is November 25th, which is also the deadline to request a postal vote.

The programme for #DerbyTransformed looks genuinely exciting. A testament to the ongoing creativity, enthusiasm and intellect of our growing movement. I hope to see some of you there tomorrow!
Thanks to the excellent panel I chaired this morning at #DerbyTransformed Simon Hannah, @billwhitehead and Margaret Beckett. An excellent start to@the day discussing what lessons we can learn from Labour’s history.
Let’s take our country back from the racists that do not represent us. David Lammy is an amazing MP. He has them rattled, that’s for sure. All power to him. And fucking Hell, what a disgrace. https://t.co/j8XCqWby4L
The killing and wounding by Israeli forces of civilians demonstrating for Palestinian rights in Gaza is appalling.
The UK Government must make its voice heard on the urgency of a genuine settlement for peace and justice.
The NHS does wonders everyday and there are brilliant people working within it. If you have experienced great care please think of nominating that person for https://t.co/ZkHu4Yan5l
