Kementerian Perdagangan Dalam Negeri dan Kos Sara Hidup (@KPDN_HQ) dimohon mengambil maklum dan menjalankan siasatan.

Video ini memaparkan tindakan seorang lelaki dan seorang wanita yang mengisi petrol RON95 ke dalam sebuah tong besar yang diletakkan di ruang but kereta mereka.

Kejadian tersebut didakwa berlaku di stesen minyak Petronas Mutiara Rini pada jam 9:21 malam. Kenderaan yang digunakan ialah sebuah Nissan Teana dengan nombor pendaftaran JPC 8807.

Perakam video, yang merakam dari dalam kenderaan lain, kedengaran terkejut melihat perbuatan tersebut serta jumlah lebih 71 liter RON95 yang diisi, dengan paparan pam menunjukkan bayaran melebihi RM230.

Sebagai konteks, perbuatan membeli dan mengisi petrol (terutamanya RON95 bersubsidi) ke dalam tong, dram atau bekas yang tidak diluluskan dalam kuantiti besar tanpa permit sah merupakan satu kesalahan di bawah undang-undang Malaysia, kerana ia sering dikaitkan dengan aktiviti penyelewengan atau penyeludupan bahan api.
