Time Team investigated the lost medieval burgh of Roxburgh in the Borders in June 2003. Rough mock-up of street layout with outer ditches based on those findings. Town disappeared after Castle was slighted in 1460. Roxburgh should have become an Edinburgh or Stirling town in size
