35 years with the possibility of parole for murder especially in Texas is a slap on the wrist… the minimum sentence for Karmelo should’ve been life without parole. Should always be the case with murder.

There have been many absurd pro-murder arguments especially when racial tribalism is a factor, but nothing is going to top “35 years for your first murder is too harsh.” Even suggesting there should be multiple strikes for murder is unserious, and he’s lucky that’s all he got.
