@diesirate The idea that HOTD is the real version of events died the second he made Alicent and Rhaenyra the same age. There's just no way historians would've gotten wrong that they have a 10 year old age gap at 18 and 8 instead.

Imagine s1 had just an episode for Lestat and one for Claudia instead of a proper storyline. That's what they did to Gabi and Nicki.

@akusigh I don't think I'll keep watching either. It would've been so much better if they just adapted TVL's story (Lestat's backstory) normally from start to finish like in the first two seasons. They could just have their fun with the present timeline and leave the past one as it was.
