There is nothing welcoming about the way Australia has treated temporary residents, visa holders, and international students in the last 20 months. They have failed at every hurdle, including preventing those currently on shore from returning should they leave to visit family.

Congratulations ! The children need money but they also need #mentalhealthcare ! This should be spelled out in the package ! Somehow this gets ignored. Trauma as a result of the loss of carers if not addressed will lead to traumatised adults . Money then will be of little use
