@thepatblakely Great question! In this situation, I often ask myself "Is it fair to make it a priority for someone else?" In some cases it is fair because it might be their job (for example a tax consultant helping with taxes), or someone else is way better / excited in the task as I am.
@kathtsoukalas Yes! Maybe you can identify it in hindsight - but for example, if I need to write 5 versions of a document and keep only one, we could say that only 1 (20%) of them were useful. But maybe I needed the other 4 versions to help me write the last version?
@thepatblakely Yes! Really very close to an office feel. But the initial excitement quickly wore off, feeling it was more entertainment than real collaboration. I mostly talked spontaneously with those with whom I'd had many slack huddles before. Anyway, worth a try - every team is different!
@thepatblakely To be completely honest, I think the book itself could have been a bit briefer ironically. Like "take your own advice, authors!". Still some valuable nuggets!
