Under India’s BRICS Chairship 2026, the Ministry of Ayush has successfully concluded the 3rd BRICS technical meeting on Traditional Complementary and Integrative Medicine (TCIM), held on 11 June 2026. The meeting witnessed extensive and constructive discussions on the draft Terms of Reference (ToR) for the proposed Expert Working Group in TCIM and the draft outcome paragraph under the BRICS Health Track.
Member States exchanged views on priority areas of cooperation, including research and evidence generation, capacity building, digital knowledge platforms, regulatory cooperation, and protection of traditional knowledge.
