I feel like I need to repeat this today. As a woman, I am not a victim. As a person with mixed ancestry - Irish, Jewish and Aboriginal, I am not a victim. As someone who grew up in poverty and neglect leading to a life of addiction and incarceration, I am not a victim. I am free.

This was my prison ID. I went from enslaved to sin and locked in a cell for years to meeting Jesus, earning a PHD, pastoring a local church and homeschooling my children. I shouldn’t even be alive. I’ll never stop proclaiming His name - JESUS - the only name that saves.

As a Mum who started homeschooling this year, I have realised how big the lie is that somehow we won’t cope with having our children with us all the time. LIES!!! Having them with me all the time is LESS stressful than constantly running them to school and everywhere else.

Always remember that Jesus came to bring freedom from spiritual bondage not governmental oppression. While it’s important to hold back the tide of evil, it must be from a place of rest and contentment in knowing who you are in Christ and always seeking Him first #Jesus
