The Binet School serves students with special education needs from age 5-21 with love & compassion with ONE FOCUS-success for every student in school & in life!
Monday’s “Talk It Out” session provided a meaningful conversation about how educators can support students and families during stressful events at home, in the community, and around the world. When we listen, respond with care, and stay connected, we make a real difference.
Wonderful day at Binet! Families enjoyed a holiday meal and joined our Family Engagement Meeting. Our SLP, Audrey Rubino led a great talk on communication, and parents shared experiences and support. ❤️ #FamilyEngagement#BinetStrong
🚨SCHOOL CANCELED | Due to the necessary shelter-in-place order issued by the city following this evening’s tragic plane crash, all JCPS schools and buildings will be closed Wednesday, Nov. 5. Ruben’s insights into his experiences provided valuable lessons for all of us about perseverance, adaptability, and the importance of embracing our heritage.
During National Hispanic Heritage Month, we had the privilege of hosting Ruben Plasencia, the General Manager of La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant. Ruben shared his personal journey of moving to the United States in search of a better life.
Despite these obstacles, Ruben highlighted the support systems and community connections that played a crucial role in his journey. His story was not only a testament to resilience and determination but also an inspiring reminder of the power of hope and hard work.
