അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി മറ്റൊരാളുടെ കൈകളിൽ നിന്ന് നിന്റെ ദേഹത്ത് ഒരല്പം വെള്ളം വീണാൽ, അഴുക്ക് പറ്റിയാൽ നീ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും? അതൊരു ഏഴുവയസ്സുകാരി കുട്ടിയാണെങ്കിൽ?

സാമാന്യബുദ്ധിയുള്ള, മനുഷ്യത്വമുള്ള മനുഷ്യർ അത് ക്ഷമിക്കും. പക്ഷേ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഉത്തംനഗറിൽ ഒരു കൊച്ചുകുട്ടിയുടെ കൈകളിൽ നിന്ന് അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി അന്യമതവിഭാഗത്തിലുള്ള സ്ത്രീയുടെ നേർക്ക് ഹോളി ആഘോഷത്തിനിടെ അബദ്ധത്തിൽ നിറങ്ങൾ നിറച്ച വെള്ളം വീണു. ആ സ്ത്രീ പ്രശ്നമുണ്ടാക്കി. പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ വീട്ടുകാർ ക്ഷമ ചോദിച്ചു.

ഏതാനും നിമിഷങ്ങൾക്കുശേഷം ആ ഹിന്ദു കുടുംബം കണ്ടത് മുപ്പതുപേരടങ്ങുന്ന ആൾക്കൂട്ടത്തെയാണ്. ഒരു കൊച്ചുകുഞ്ഞിന്റെ അബദ്ധത്തിന്റെ പേരിൽ ആ ആൾക്കൂട്ടം ഹിന്ദു കുടുംബത്തെ ആക്രമിച്ചു. കുടുംബത്തിന്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട മകൻ, ഇരുപത്തിയാറുകാരനായ തരുൺ കുമാർ ആ മർദനത്തിൽ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു.

ശ്വാസം നിലച്ചുവെന്ന് ഉറപ്പായിട്ടും ചലനമറ്റ അവന്റെ ശരീരത്തെ അവർ വെറുതെ വിട്ടില്ല എന്നാണ് പലയിടത്തുംനിന്ന് മനസ്സിലാകുന്നത്.

ഉമറുദ്ദീൻ, കമറുദ്ദീൻ, ജുമാദീൻ, മുഷ്താഖ്, മുസഫർ, താഹിർ എന്നിവരെ ഡൽഹി പോലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു. അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്യപ്പെട്ടവരിൽ പതിനെട്ട് തികയാത്ത ഒരാൾ കൂടിയുണ്ട് എന്ന ഞെട്ടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഒരു കാര്യമുണ്ട്. മതം പ്രായഭേദമന്യേ എങ്ങനെ ലഹരിയാകുന്നു എന്നതിന്റെ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ ഉദാഹരണം.

തരുൺ കുമാർ ഹിന്ദുവാണ്, ദളിത് വിഭാഗത്തിൽനിന്നുള്ള ഹിന്ദു. ആൾക്കൂട്ട വിചാരണയുടെ കൈകളിൽ പൊലിഞ്ഞ ജീവൻ. അവന്റെ മരണത്തിൽ ചോദിക്കാനോ കുടുംബത്തിന് ആശ്വാസമേകാനോ ഭീം ആർമിയോ കോൺഗ്രസുകാരോ മതേതരത്വം പറയുന്നവരോ ആരും വന്നില്ല.

തരുണിനും കുടുംബത്തിനും വേണ്ടി തെരുവിലിറങ്ങിയത് വർഗീയവാദികളെന്ന് മുദ്രകുത്തപ്പെട്ട ബജ്റംഗ്ദളാണ്. ആക്രമണക്കാരുടെ വീട് ഉപരോധിച്ചതും പോലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിൽ പ്രതിഷേധം സംഘടിപ്പിച്ച് നടപടി വേഗത്തിലാക്കണമെന്ന് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടതും ഹിന്ദു വർഗീയവാദികളാണ്. മതേതരത്വം പറയുന്നവർ വീട്ടിലിരുന്ന് ചാനലിൽ വാർത്ത കാണുകയാണ്.

തരുണിന്റെ ബന്ധു മാൻ സിംഗ് മാധ്യമങ്ങൾക്കും പോലീസിനും മുന്നിൽ കരഞ്ഞ് പറഞ്ഞത് ഒന്നേയുള്ളൂ, "യോഗിയുടെ ബുൾഡോസർ രാജ് വേണം, അനധികൃതമായി നിൽക്കുന്ന ആ വീട് തകർക്കണം."

തരുണിനെ ആക്രമിച്ചവരുടെ വീടുകൾ ഡൽഹി മുനിസിപ്പൽ കോർപ്പറേഷൻ ബുൾഡോസർ വഴി ഇടിച്ചു. അതിന് കാരണം ആ അച്ഛന്റെ കണ്ണീരിനൊപ്പം വർഗീയവാദികൾ എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്ന ബജ്റംഗ്ദളിന്റെ പ്രതിഷേധവും കണക്കിലെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടാണ്.

ഇപ്പോഴും രാജ്യത്തെ ഭൂരിഭാഗം ഹിന്ദുക്കളും ഈ സംഭവം അറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. അവരെല്ലാം ഇറാന് വേണ്ടി മോദിയെ ചീത്തവിളിക്കുന്ന തിരക്കിലായിരിക്കും.

ഈ അച്ഛന്റെ കൈകൂപ്പിയുള്ള കണ്ണീരിൽ ഡൽഹിയിലെ ഹിന്ദുവിരുദ്ധ മതേതരത്വമെങ്കിലും ഹിന്ദുക്കളുടെ നെഞ്ചിൽ എരിഞ്ഞൊടുങ്ങിക്കാണും എന്ന് ഉറപ്പാണ്.
