I remember after I got married, one day I asked my husband:
“Please, be honest, what made you choose me?”
Among all the things he listed, there was this one that nearly made me faint. 😂
He reminded me of the day he took me to Silverbird in Port Harcourt for movie seeing, When we got there we first asked for popcorn, and they said it was ₦800.
Then I shouted:
“₦800 for popcorn?!”
I turned to him and said:
“Please Honey, let’s go home, I will stop at railway market to buy things for egusi soup with that ₦800”🙆🏻‍♂️.
And that was how a supposed date night turned to soup cooking night 🤣
According to my husband, that was the exact moment he said to himself

looking back now: I feel so ashamed of myself for being stingy on somebody’s money 😭😭😭

The reason Ondo and Ekiti states rank as the most backward in Nigeria is that the gods and ancestors of the land are angry. The violence against kings, kidnappings, and other disasters occurring in these states are a result of their refusal to honor their Edo ancestors.
