Former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh says it would have been an honour to serve under an officer like KPS Gill.

He recalls how, during the 1962 Indo-China War, when panic had gripped Tezpur, Assam, and much of the administration had withdrawn, a young police officer, KPS Gill, chose to stay at his post instead of fleeing.

According to Captain Amarinder Singh, K.P.S. Gill saved Punjab by transforming the Punjab Police into an effective counter-insurgency force, restoring public confidence, strengthening intelligence, and relentlessly taking on Khalistani terrorists until militancy was defeated.

Captain Amarinder recalls how dire the situation in Punjab had become during the peak of militancy. Shops and businesses would shut at sunset, people avoided stepping out after evening, police officers themselves feared meeting the public after dark, and large parts of normal life had come to a standstill.

Whatever one's political views, K.P.S. Gill remains one of the most consequential and controversial figures in India's fight against terrorism. His legacy continues to evoke strong opinions, but his role in Punjab's history cannot be ignored.

The minister is right. Kerosene is used in aeroplanes. But selling kerosene-blended petrol is a punishable offence. Why? Because the cars aren't made for kerosene, even though they can run on that fuel.

This strawmanning by strawmen has no feet. Nobody is asking you to scrap the ethanol policy. They just want the appropriate fuel for their cars. E10 for E10 compliant. E20 for E20 compliant. And E0 for non-compliant.

अब @narendramodi बताएँ कि ये क्या बिक रहा है पम्प पर? क्या पेट्रोल पम्प वाले अपनी तरफ़ से भी कुछ घपला कर रहे हैं? स्थानीय पुलिस फिर क्या कर रही है? आप हर बात को चुप्पी या फिर सोरोस का एजेंट कह कर टाल नहीं सकते।

After Mohan Yadav became Madhya Pradesh CM, his family and real estate companies reportedly bought at least 137 plots spread over 168 acres in and around Ujjain.

This is the same Ujjain being reshaped for Simhastha 2028 with highways, road widening, townships, riverfront projects, medical city, IT park and new commercial zones.

The most damning part is this: out of the 168 acres bought after he became CM, 111 acres are reportedly located along roads announced by CM Mohan Yadav himself.

His family already had land. But after Dec 2023, the land buying saw a sharp jump, right when Ujjain’s development map started turning into a goldmine.

Indian Express repeatedly asked the CM for answers. He stayed silent.

A man filed a divorce case expecting the judiciary to decide his matter.

Instead, he got dates.
Every hearing meant advocate fees, travel expenses, and loss of a working day. After multiple adjournments, the case remained exactly where it started.

No action. No progress. No outcome.

The system kept demanding his presence, his time, and his money, while giving nothing in return except another date.

After months of this, he realized that the process itself had become the punishment.

Having lost faith in a system where delays have become normal and accountability is absent, he decided to withdraw the case rather than continue funding an endless cycle of adjournments.

The case was withdrawn with these lines.

The frustration with the judiciary remains.

Vijeta Dahiya, who is a spokesperson of CJP, made a Haryanvi music video titled "Bhola Cutting Kara Le ."

In the song, Maa Parvati is shown saying:
"You smoke a chillum. Who will even consider you a god?"
To which the character portraying Shivji replies:
"I can't do anything about people who say 'Bam' and smoke a chillum. Being Sanghi is not a crime."

I find these lyrics deeply offensive. This guy literally questioned Shivji being a God, and if you watch the music video as well, it comes across as making fun of Hindu beliefs and traditions.

If this kind of mockery was done for any other religion, there would be massive outrage and demands for action. I will attach the link to the music video below this tweet. Kindly watch it yourself, report it if you find it objectionable, and also pressure the company to take it down.
