i still can’t believe i won best actress and the popularity awards at the blue dragon film awards...
i was so caught off guard that i couldn’t properly express my gratitude or say anything eloquent, which was frustrating too... above all, i heard that my fans voted so, so hard for the popularity award 😭 i’m so touched. how can i possibly thank you all?”

“<no other choice> was my first film in a long time and my first comeback project after marriage, so i had many worries. bit since i was working with director park chan-wook and senior lee byung-hun, i just thought i’d follow along.
after seeing the film, i realized anew how grateful i am that director park chan-wook is in the korean film industry. and senior lee byung-hun is simply legendary. senior lee sung-min, a master of acting with incredible energy. actress yeom hye-ran eonni, whose charm is beyond measure. that face and expressiveness from him?! a new discovery, senior park hee-soon... and all the senior and junior actors who performed their roles so brilliantly..
i came to love and respect them all, both as people and as actors. and i was so happy to be the youngest member.”

“also, director of cinematography kim woo-hyung’s team. lighting director kim min-jae’s team. art director ryu seong-hee’team. makeup director song jong-hee’s team. costume director cho sang-kyung’s team. music director cho young-wook’s team. and all the other staff members (i’m sorry i can’t mention everyone individually). thanks to all of you who gave your all on set, sweating buckets, the characters could shine and truly exist. i was fortunate enough to receive this precious and valuable award. i won’t take it lightly!! i will show you even more impressive acting. thank you 🙏🩷”
