@jodymacman How about settling a tie in the All-Star Game (or all games) with total bases instead of runs. (No man on 2B) Think about the intensity and the possibilities. More players would be involved than the HR contest, and likely have the desired quick outcome.
@jodymacman@ttwentyman@RowanKavner@GaryMyersNY My wife and I view the Olympics via (NBC) on a small TV the kitchen. We eat, check our tablets, and do administrative things while keeping an eye on events. In the evening we’ll move to the big screen. We were in Paris last year so there is greater intrigue than past years.
@jodymacman@ronflatter@kyleglass @ColinCBSSports Jody. I sent you the pics. Wanted to add that the Daily Racing Form was not cutting edge in the early 70’s. The local charts published in the SF Chronicle posted the fractions and the DRF did not. So if you did a little homework you could pull out some good winners. Ken
@jodymacman@ronflatter@kyleglass @ColinCBSSports Jody. Me and my buds were big track bums in the early seventies at Golden Gate Fields and Bay Meadows in the Bay Area. Here are a few tidbits of nostalgia. Speaking of close finishes….Great show, thanks. Ken
@BartWinklerShow@CBSSportsRadio The Dale O’Meter. A table tennis paddle specifically designed for a playing bud. It doesn’t have the ‘reach’ or predictive powers of the Bart O’ Meter though.
@dan_bernstein Dan. Will the upcoming presidential vaccinations become the most important shots viewed ‘round the world? Thanks for the great show. Ken, Elmhurst
#PongPositive I've created a number of table tennis cartoons to help lift the spirits. I have some others on my page, and can post more here if I get some feedback. Here's a sample.
