Nach 3 Stunden raumhauen auf dem Linux ABI mit #golang habe ich es geschafft einen BPF Filter an einen AF_PACKET Socket zu nageln. Damit wird @bioRouting nicht von CGO abhängen!

Implementing RFC2385 TCP MD5 authentication for @bioRouting was PITA thanks to @golang hiding the socket before calling connect(). Thus making it impossible to call setsockopt() on the socket at the right time.
Had to stick to using plain POSIX Syscalls instead. #golang #bgp

Did you know we can decode a real IPv4 Internet BGP Feed (131k BGP messages/766k prefixes) in 838ms on a single core of an i7-8550U CPU?
That includes deduplication of IP addresses and Prefixes!
