If my husband hadn’t been there when I gave birth it would have been ten times more stressful for me. Luckily I live abroad and there was a bed for him in the labour room and an armchair in delivery.

Vehemently disagree! The entire IICSA inquiry was supposed to look at all forms of child sexual abuse, and ended up with 5 pages on 'grooming gangs' and no survivor voice or other expertise. We need a deep-dive on these specific street-based rape and pimping gangs, so we can seek to disrupt them. No-one said "don't look at the specifics of child sexual abuse by the clergy, because secular men also abuse children. The relative silence and misinformation on these type of gangs has been a gift both to the racist right, and the liberal cowards.

It doesn’t damage children to sleep in with their parents. They will become independent in their own time
