@brankopetric00 I did this just a month ago, the final goal was to downsize from an overprovisioned instance. Good thing our thought process involved spinning a couple instances from production snapshots at different instance types, which inherently tested the Aurora migration as well.
MongoBleed (CVE-2025-14847) is basically Heartbleed for MongoDB
- unauthenticated memory disclosure
- public POC, trivial to exploit
- leaks creds, tokens, cloud keys straight from RAM
- huge exposed surface on the internet
Good writeups and technical details here:

Patch fast, rotate secrets, and assume exposed instances were scanned(!)
@TheHappyWhale_ Thing is that it is more likely the game will get fixes after an UE5 remake than years of not having fixes on UE4. In this case making it look better is just a side effect.
@TheHappyWhale_ The decision on upgrading to UE5 is part of the natural process of rethinking the software and keeping up to date with the technology. The devs probably need to recode the game because it's a mess after customizing the engine from 2017 (yes, PUBG has not updated UE4 since that)
@Rev0verDrive@TheHappyWhale_ They could do better than that by just adding a cache value of the last map selected, so that on each getRandomMap call it chooses the next map from a list that does not include the cached value, and finally updates the cache with the result.
Small work, huge QoL improvement.
@TheHappyWhale_ I don't see a viable location where SA players will get a sub-100 ping without affecting NA and viceversa. They are just geographically too far from each other, this will just probably sacrifice an entire region.
I've just come back from #Venezuela 🇻🇪 where I spent 2.5 weeks, witnessing the run-up to the presidential vote, and what was arguably the most outrageous election steal in the modern history of Latin America.
I'll share some thoughts below 🧵
