I've been MIA from here for months since life has been hectic!
Moved about 2 weeks ago not too far but out with my spouse and myself :D
Am also 17.5 weeks pregnant which was a HUGE surprise! Still processing but doing well💙
Positive thoughts appreciated!
I told @Tinu a couple months ago about my idea to crip Hollywood from the ground up by organizing huge numbers of disabled people to show up for every single casting call for extras.
I have a vision for how it would all happen too. Tinu loved it, so I'm telling you now.
Today, marks 14 years since my mom passed away. So far I'm doing okay thanks to all the chaos going on in my head keeping my brain currently occupied. I love you so much, Mom #Forever50
Made a very candid post on Facebook about my job journey. I got so much love and leads to some great job opportunities. It truly meant so much to see all the shares and kind comments and captions. Social media really is a powerful tool!
Have an in-person interview this coming Tuesday for a local library position! I'm so hopeful and full of reserved optimism. Keep me in your thoughts (please), I need this and REALLY want it!
@weischoice The first and only website I wrote for the beginning of this year just shut down. Happy for that opportunity, sad for both parties that it's down
@debbiemorrow_dm Me too, but at the same time, I don't want to work for a company like that. If they're that stingy and selective, put tighter reqs on the application rather than wasting people's time
Two sides of life I'm dealing with right now:
Employment struggles due to disability and lack of experience
Denied benefits because I have a degree and should be fine to find work

@debbiemorrow_dm YUP! I've done 2 of these recorded interviews for hospital positions- which are tiring and "expose" the vocal impact of my dystonia- and hear nothing back. Second one is still in processing stage so we'll see
