@RexChapman She has some valid points! I don’t think one has to have a college degree in order to be a successful elected official working for their constituents, but I do think one should understand the structure of government and any threatening language or behavior should be addressed.

Racism seemed to have gotten a new lease on life from Trump’s election. This observation is from a small sample size (my class) but the effect was profound. We sat in silence after hearing from half the class about their fear and humiliation.
