🚨 Luka Modrić when asked who is the more complete player between Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi ahead of Portugal vs Croatia in the FIFA World Cup Round of 32:
🗣️ Reporter:
“Luka, you’ve played against both Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. Who do you believe is the more complete player?”
🗣️ Luka Modrić:
“What Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have done for football can never be overlooked. They have defined an entire generation, and we may never see two players like them again.”
“If you’re asking me who the more complete player is, then for me it’s Cristiano Ronaldo.”
“Not everybody can do what Cristiano does. To be the most complete player, you have to be able to score with both feet, score headers, diving headers, bicycle kicks, create chances, deliver assists, dribble past defenders, hold the ball under pressure and physically dominate defenders when necessary.”
“Cristiano Ronaldo gives you all of that. He has every tool a footballer could ask for, and that’s why I consider him the most complete.”
“Lionel Messi is magical. He can never be overlooked. The way he carries the ball, the way he sees passes that nobody else can see and the calmness he brings to the game are on another level.”
“What Messi can do, only Messi can do. He has a gift that football may never witness again.”
“But if we’re talking about completeness, about having every weapon in your game and being able to hurt opponents in every possible way, then for me Cristiano Ronaldo is the most complete footballer.”
“They are both all-time greats, but if I had to choose just one based on completeness, my answer will always be Cristiano Ronaldo.
🚨 Reporter asks Vinícius Júnior who the best footballer is between Neymar Jr., Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo:
🗣️ Reporter: “Vinícius, you’ve played with Neymar for Brazil and you’ve watched both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo dominate football for years. Who do you think is the best footballer among the three?”
🗣️ Vinícius Júnior: “First of all, it’s an honour to even mention those names together. Neymar is one of the most talented players Brazil has ever produced. Messi is one of the greatest talents football has ever seen. Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the greatest athletes the sport has ever had.”
“But if you’re asking me to choose one, I would say Cristiano Ronaldo.”
🗣️ Reporter: “Why Cristiano?”
🗣️ Vinícius Júnior: “Because when I look at football, I don’t just look at talent. I look at the complete picture.”
“Cristiano proved himself everywhere. England, Spain, Italy and Portugal. Different leagues, different teammates, different coaches and different generations, but the result was always the same — goals, trophies and records.”
“His mentality is something I’ve never seen before. Most players are satisfied after winning one Ballon d’Or or one Champions League. Cristiano kept wanting more.”
“He turned hard work into an art form. Every young player in football has looked at Cristiano Ronaldo and learned something from him.”
“What impresses me most is the longevity. For more than twenty years he has remained at the highest level while football constantly changed around him.”
“People talk about talent, but discipline, sacrifice and consistency are talents too. Cristiano mastered all of them.”
“Neymar inspired a generation in Brazil. Messi inspired a generation in Argentina. Cristiano inspired the entire football world.”
“That is why, for me, Cristiano Ronaldo is the greatest footballer ever”.

Dear @amazonIN@AmazonHelp, how am I supposed to get any info on my order if I don't want to cancel it? Your #customercare is absolutely pathetic. There is no way to reach an agent. This is not the first time a phone bought with offers in a sale is delayed. #amazon#cheating

ONE OF THE GREATEST T20 WORLD CUP PERFORMANCE EVER. 🫡
If you are a Sanju Samson fan, like I am, this was a treat. Great timing, calmness and a refreshingly selfless attitude. That is why we keep saying he just gets T20 cricket.
You can measure runs, partnerships, and strike rates, but the real stat here is intent. Loved the positive approach with the bat and the cool heads in the field. That’s the mindset you want in knockout cricket.
Great to see Sanju Samson carry his form into this match and set the tempo early!
Eyes on the final. 🇮🇳

Really want to go back to those days @ivanvuko19#KBFC
Not many opportunities this #WorldCup, but when it mattered, Sanju stood tall and played the innings of his life 👏🏻 That’s the mindset of a champion! Stay ready, stay patient and never stop believing! Proud of you @IamSanjuSamson! The spirit of never giving up always wins!

What a knock, @IamSanjuSamson
Pure class. Pure dominance. A fearless statement on the biggest stage.
Congratulations to the Indian cricket team for marching into the #T20WorldCup2026 Semi Final.
This is what true love looks like. 🥹
Yesterday, during the 5th T20I while Sanju Samson was batting, his wife, Charulata Samson, closed her eyes and prayed to God for his comeback. Well, the comeback didn’t happen, but if you have a wife like Charulata Samson, someone who stands by you through all your ups and downs, that’s something truly special. 🧿
I talked to an LIC policyholder today who invested ₹1251 every 6 months for 25 years, starting from 2000.
At maturity, he received ₹85,000 including bonuses. This is a CAGR of just 2.8%, which doesn’t even cover half of the inflation.
In an FD (7% interest), he would have received ₹1.64 lakhs, and in a mutual fund (12%), he’d have received ₹3.62L.
He also had got a term insurance cover of ₹50,000 from that LIC policy, for which he paid ₹1251 every 6 months.
If he had bought a ₹50,000 term insurance separately, it would have costed him just ₹48 every 6 months, because a ₹25 lakh insurance is available in the market at around ₹300 per month.
So basically, he overpaid heavily for both insurance and investment, due to which he couldn’t even beat inflation and didn’t even get a good term insurance cover. His money kept getting wasted for 25 years.
LIC policies are known for making agents wealthier, not investors. Agents buy hefty real estate properties from their commissions while the policyholder can’t even beat inflation.
If any of your friends or relatives try to sell you an LIC policy, respectfully ask them to leave the house.
They know the reality, and if they’re still selling it to you, it means they don’t have your best interests at heart and could cheat you for money even in the future.
“Can I bring my baby to the interview?”
The message came in at 11 PM:
“Hi, I have an interview with you tomorrow at 2 PM. My childcare fell through. Can I bring my 8-month-old? I understand if you need to reschedule.”
Old me would have rescheduled.
Unprofessional. Distraction. Red flag.
New me replied:
“Absolutely. See you tomorrow.”
He showed up with his baby held close to his chest.
He apologized twice before even sitting down.
Ten minutes in, the baby started crying.
He gently rocked him while answering questions.
He apologized again.
Then he said quietly, almost embarrassed:
“My wife passed away last year. There’s no one else to take care of him. I’ve been unemployed for a long time, and I couldn’t afford to miss this interview.”
I stopped the interview and said:
“Hey. You’re managing grief, caring for a baby, answering complex questions, and staying calm under pressure. That’s literally the job. Handling chaos while staying professional. You’re already proving you can do it.”
His eyes filled with tears.
We hired him.
He’s been with us for a year now.
The most reliable team member we have.
Why?
Because when you’ve learned how to survive loss, raise a child alone, and still show up prepared, workplace pressure feels manageable.
Single parents aren’t liabilities.
They’re resilient, focused, and deeply committed.
Yet we lose people like this because our hiring processes assume candidates have perfect support systems.
If your interview process can’t accommodate someone navigating real life, you’re not filtering for professionalism.
You’re filtering for privilege.
