আমি অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সঙ্গে ঘোষণা করছি যে, আমাদের কৃষকবন্ধু (নতুন) প্রকল্পে আমরা রাজ্যজুড়ে কৃষক ও বর্গাদারদের প্রতিবছর খরিফ ও রবি মরসুমে চাষের সুবিধার জন্য যে সহায়তা প্রদান করি তারই অঙ্গ হিসেবে এবারের আসন্ন খরিফ মরসুমের জন্য রাজ্যের ১ কোটি ৫ লক্ষ কৃষক ও বর্গাদারকে সহায়তা প্রদান আজ থেকে শুরু করা হল। তাঁদের ব্যাঙ্ক অ্যাকাউন্টে সরাসরি মোট ২ হাজার ৯০০ কোটি টাকা এই পর্যায়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে। এই বছরের শেষের দিকে রবি মরসুমের জন্যও একই পরিমাণ টাকা দেওয়া হবে।
কৃষকবন্ধু (নতুন) প্রকল্পে রাজ্যের কৃষকদের ও বর্গাদারদের বছরে দুই কিস্তিতে একর প্রতি ১০ হাজার টাকা সহায়তা দেওয়া হচ্ছে। যাঁদের কম জমি আছে, তাঁরাও আনুপাতিক হারে (ন্যূনতম ৪ হাজার টাকা) সহায়তা পান। ২০১৯ সালে চালু হবার পর থেকে এই প্রকল্পে মোট ১৮ হাজার ২৩৪ কোটি টাকা আমরা আমাদের কৃষকদের কাছে পৌঁছে দিয়েছি। এজন��য আমি গর্বিত!
শুধু তাই নয়, ১৮ বছর থেকে ৬০ বছর বয়স পর্যন্ত কোনো কৃষক মারা গেলে তাঁর পরিবারকে সামাজিক সুরক্ষা দেবার উদ্দেশ্যে ২ লক্ষ টাকা সহায়তাও দেওয়া হয়। এই খাতেও বাংলার প্রায় ১ লক্ষ ১২ হাজার কৃষক পরিবার মোট ২ হাজার ২৪০ কোটি টাকা সহায়তা পেয়েছেন।
আমি সবসময় মনে করি, আমাদের কৃষকরা আমাদের সম্পদ, আমাদের গর্ব। আমাদের সরকার আগামীদিনেও এভাবেই তাঁদের সার্বিক কল্যাণের উদ্দেশ্যে কাজ করে যাবে।

Happy to announce that we are now releasing today onwards Rs. 2900 crore directly into the bank accounts of our about 1.05 crore farmers ( including Bargadars) enrolled under our Krishak Bandhu ( Natun) scheme. This is the first dose of financial assistance for Kharif season 2024, and an equal second instalment will go for Ravi season later this year.
For cultivable land of one acre onwards, a farmer gets Rs.10000/-, and for lesser quantum of land, proportionate amount with minimum being Rs.4000/- per year. Since inception in 2019, a sum of 18,234 crore has thus reached the farmers' accounts.
In addition, for a farmer dying between 18 and 60, his family gets death compensation of 2 lakh. Total 1,12,000 bereaved families in West Bengal have received total 2240 crore in last few years on this account.
We are committed to our farmers' economic betterment and social security.
