@yesitsjai_ Losing that status messes with their ability to get federal aid (y’all grants and loans) and keep academic programs (who also have accreditation requirements). No one wants to graduate from an unaccredited school b/c it’s a dud diploma.

@yesitsjai_ Well... all higher education institutions are accredited by certain agencies. In order to maintain that accreditation they have to be in good standing for multiple factors. It’s a bad look to get warnings or to get threatened to lose it.
