@FirstSquire @KirstieMAllsopp Maybe when the teaching crisis and local schools falling beneath acceptable standards are affecting more people with means, the problems will get resolved. Like so many public services, unless they’re being accessed by individuals with influence, nothing is improved.

@KirstieMAllsopp Isn’t this also about improving the landscape of our education system and ensuring that the standard of our public schools is equal to that of the increasing amount of independent schools? My children are in the private education system but I am in favour of this change.
