In 2024, we approved ₹259.7cr to build 2,597 libraries in Assam replete with all modern amenities.

Anti-narcotics operation continues in full force💊

In a late night anti-narcotics operation carried out by @STFAssam, 4 traffickers were apprehended at a hotel in Paltan Bazar, Guwahati and 416gms of heroin were recovered from their possession.

We will continue our mission of #AssamAgainstDrugs to save our youths from the vice of contraband substances.

A spinal cord injury kept Smt Purnima Saikia immobile for long whose treatment required ₹1.5 lakh.

She wrote a letter to my office and we immediately provided her assistance.

The result? She is back on her foot now and can walk with the help of Heep Knee Ankle Orthosis.

The last few days have been very satisfying as we could reach out to 12 lakh people and extend them various benefits of our Govt schemes.

We also started distribution of ration cards to 20 lakh additional people in Assam.

Due to persistent efforts, we have been able to save over 400 lives by reducing road accidents in 2024.
