I know GMET has been working on an early warning system for a while, but as things stand, spending money on that, in itself, will do little for people in flood-prone areas.
Our flood response should go beyond an alert system.
I get the alert, then what? How do I move to a safe haven? Where are the safe havens?
Does Lekma have means to move people during flooding? (No).
A district as big and rich as Lekma should legit have a chopper by the way.
EMERGENCY EMERGENCY
Please anyone using the Mahama road should divert or use the on-coming vehicle lane from the round about (the statue) towards 37 road
There is a 30kv electricity cable lying in the middle of the road.
Please take this serious and take the direction given.
Thank you
This did keep me up so I thought I’d write about it. Please read: You Don’t Know What an Apology Is, And It’s Ruining It for the Rest of Us https://t.co/uSjK30UDmV
