@bibroskein then i think you should ask on reddit for sure 😭, you should find (queer friendly preferably) hairstylists and get them to give you some options to go to a local hairdresser with, just make sure the style references are men, this can help a LOT
please stop listening to the “short hair=pass” tips, that’s not always the case 😭 not enough trans men understand their face shape enough which is why so many of you guys just look like masc lesbians
@lyricarapbattle if you think any of these fit just by looking, you can find the best styles for each face shape, if you’re unsure/it’s a mix, you can ask for the opinion of a professional hairdresser :)
@bibroskein you could always get the opinion of a hairdresser, either in person or asking on reddit, just make sure they know you want masculine options to frame your face
@RAD1O_STATIC don’t worry, there are soo many passing hairstyles for tighter coils ! you could always get your hair braided with extensions, that’ll help it grow too
@KittyKryptid right 😭 i get that it works for a LOT of people, but i’m tired of trans men feeling pressured into cutting their hair because they’re convinced that it’s automatically gonna help them pass
@hgujghjfgjh it’s not your face shape that causes it, it’s when the haircut has the opposite effect and simply makes you look like a masculine woman instead of a man. the way to avoid it is to experiment and look at which hairstyles/cuts will sharpen your features instead of softening them !
