UPDATE FOR WARRIOR LEO

Hello everyone,

We would like to share an update regarding Leo.

As many of you know, Leo has returned to his home in Isabela while waiting for the schedule of his surgery. To lessen the burden of frequent travel between Isabela and Manila, his medical team advised them to continue with teleconsultations while awaiting his surgery date.

Yesterday, Leo attended his first teleconsultation. During the consultation, they were advised to prepare and submit the necessary laboratory results for the next appointment and to continue taking his prescribed maintenance medications as directed by his doctors.

While we continue to wait for the confirmed surgery schedule, Leo remains under medical supervision through these regular consultations. We are hopeful and praying for positive developments in the coming weeks.

We will continue to provide updates on Leo's condition and treatment journey. Thank you to everyone who continues to keep Leo in your prayers and support him during this challenging time. Your kindness and generosity mean so much to him and his family.

Please continue to pray for Leo's strength, healing, and successful surgery.

Meat is available in Gaza but it’s not cheap. One kilo is around $15 without commission so to make 3,000 sandwiches with meat, we need at least $3 per sandwich and $9,000 per day.

Nothing hurts as much as not being able to provide nourishing meals to Palestinians living in a genocide, especially when it’s available. We urge you to support our kitchen so we can go back to providing delicious meals.
