2 years ago, the @WNBA was on the verge of welcoming in a player who had a huge following, especially with young girls. Attendance and viewership would go to levels never before imagined. Millions of new eyes would be on the sport and they would finally have a chance to showcase the product in a way to grow the sport. Instead, they are the laughing stock of the sports world. They were given a winning lottery ticket and flushed it down the toilet. And to make it all the worse, this was 100% self inflicted.
