Also te reo Māori is an official language, a taonga, and just amazing. It should be celebrated and supported.

[Te Pia @saf_te_pia]

Dear Pākehā

Māori wanting te reo Māori to have the same status and attention given to your language (English) does not threaten your lives.

It is simply equality and what Te Tiriti o Waitangi demands.

If you don’t like te reo Māori, go back to Europe.

Well that’s the longest day I’ve worked in a while. And who says public servants don’t work hard. It wasn’t a classic 9-5, more like an 8-11:47.

We can’t seriously send them both guns?

- eats snacks
- plays games
- thinks everyone should be treated with respect and that we should be striving for equity on all fronts and fighting fascism at all costs

Andrea Vance coming in hot! Great column!

@GingerGorman I continued running in Sweden till it reached -15, then my face went numb too quick and I thought maybe it was a bad idea.

I did pay more attention to warming up first though!

The future is now.

[RarghWoolf @Rarghwoolf]

The trail camera I’ve set up at a popular bird bath in Waimapihi Reserve has been very busy the last few days!

[NZ’s only Scientician (Taylor’s Version) @birdscientician]

This is a snazzy bird, you can tell it’s snazzy because of how snazzy it’s robe is.

Looks like I need to visit Central America!

[Mike Henry @OnlyVeesAz]

Phainopepla’s name stems from “shining robe” in Greek.

@DrPaulSorrell Shows just how little they weigh!

Why do so many people, who are not super wealthy, defend the wealthy?

The headline finding seems to rely on an understanding that “fair = current settings applied”. I think using the word fair is disingenuous, considering this:
