Houbara Bustard, great views on the edge of Playa Blanca Lanzarote. Bad photo due to iPhone and heat haze. Sad that it’s standing next to crisp packets and rubbish. Great bird though!

Wader passage underway in the Canaries, Whimbrel, Com Sand, Rngd Plover & lots of Turnstone. 2 Y-l Gulls eating a 🦔 on the rocky shore line. Weird 🤷🏽‍♂️

Elon Musk, the richest guy in the world, is going after USAID, which feeds the poorest people in the world.

Next, he’ll go after the programs that impact you: Medicaid, Medicare, community health centers, Pell Grants, affordable housing.

We can stop him.

Why are @Tesco importing onions from New Zealand when there will be thousands of tonnes in UK farm stores?

How can that be done with a 99p retail price ? ….. never mind carbon footprint of shipping 11700 miles

This is fundamentally wrong & demonstrates just how broken our food system is

Supermarkets support British farmers 🤣🤣🤣🤣 ……. yeah righto !

Good afternoon. Bird I've not posted before an Abyssinian Roller, taken this morning in the Kotu creek area. Being pestered by a Yellow-billed Shrike.

@bromsgrovesoc @BromsgroveDC @BromsgroveProud Absolutely understand that, I forwarded the info to yourselves for reference. It is Bromsgrove council that needs to act on green issues in the town. There is so much cost effective and volunteer green work that could be done in this area, They need to lead on the issue.

[Nigel @birdwatcher55]

Hopefully ⁦@BromsgroveDC⁩ ⁦@BromsgroveProud⁩ ⁦@bromsgrovesoc⁩ is going to either be part of this scheme or will take initiative from this to put Bromsgrove on the green map, it deserves to be but is sadly lacking conservation leadership https://t.co/fn8B6jd8Hb

I am incredibly heartened by how many of you have liked and shared Team Bat/Team Newt

Thank goodness so many people care about nature.

I've put an enquiry in about t-shirts, caps, badges etc.

Please keep sharing - under every post by Reeves, Starmer et al.

As working GP Patrick Hart resides in prison for sounding the alarm on the climate emergency, we gather to protest the imprisonment of peaceful protestors

Govt should focus on arresting the real criminals who profit from harming the planet not those who try to protect it.

Why do none of our World leaders listen and acknowledge what the world is facing, its In the most untouched, pristine parts of the Amazon, birds are dying. Scientists may finally know why https://t.co/7Yn8q4GUnz

If your housing policy is true and has no regard for Bats, Great Crested Newts and other wildlife, your a despicable person. Hopefully you don’t have children or grandchildren as their future will be bleak due to your policies. God help wildlife!!!

It’s just never ending, the dreadful obstacles that nature faces on a daily basis. And all created for the so called good of us, the superior and selfish human being.

He’s back . And he’s doing exactly what he said he would . Executive orders to expand drilling in the Alaskan wilderness , the guise of a ‘National Energy Emergency’ to slash red tape and regulation for fossil fuel companies , and the withdrawal from the Paris Climate Agreement . Yes it’s a set back . A major one . But we cannot give up . Not now , not ever .

In the UK I’m campaigning for a ban on fossil fuel advertising and sponsorship , because for too long these companies have had largely unlimited £££ to greenwash their filthy reputations . No more .
