🇺🇸🇺🇦 Retired US Navy Rear Admiral Mark Montgomery suggests using F-16s against Russian ballistic missiles - The Washington Post
Montgomery suggests using Extended Range Attack Munition aircraft missiles to strike launchers.
The range of ERAM missiles is about 480 kilometers, the mass of the warhead is about 227 kilograms, they are designed for use in conditions of active electronic warfare.
A year ago, the US State Department approved the sale of up to 3,350 ERAM missiles to Ukraine for up to $825 million.
Montgomery believes that ERAM is difficult to adapt to Soviet aircraft, unlike SCALP or Storm Shadow.
Therefore, he proposes updating the F-16 software and integrating ERAM into the Fighting Falcon weapons control systems.
@Eulodinho Sind sie. Von Venezuela nach Kolumbien. Flieg mal nach Cartagena. Geh am Wochenende ab 19 Uhr auf den Hauptplatz der Altstadt. Da wirst sie alle sehen.
❓-> ‼️To answer the question about the jew slaughter in Ukraine: During WW2 people of Ukraine (after they had been taken over by Nazi Germany) had to choose. It was staying on the Nazis’ side and collaborate (there was huge pressure to do so - their lives were threatened). Or, in hope of getting rid of the Nazis, help the Communists. Obviously everyone knows that the red army was feared for raping all the women. It was a difficult choice. Some simply didn’t have a choice. The Communists won against Nazi Germany and they took over Ukraine. They implemented Ukraine into the USSR and in order to do so, they killed everyone who either wanted an independent Ukraine, had helped the Nazis (voluntarily or not) and the USSR soldiers also killed lots of Ukrainians just to enrich themselves or rape the women. Some of the Ukrainians who hadn‘t been affected as much by the Nazi occupation as they had been by 45 years of USSR occupation thought that the Nazis had been the better invaders. After 45 years of having their religion, culture, lives and language taken away/prohibited by the Communists, some of them wanted to be the extreme opposite of Communists. The became Nazis. Not the antisemitic ideology or the aryan race part of “real” Nazis, but the anti-communistic aspects. They called themselves Nazis, wore their emblems and so on. But only in despise of the Communists, because (with limited historical knowledge) the only thing they were sure of was that Nazis hated Communists and so did they. That’s about the whole confusion withe the pseudo-Nazis in Ukraine. After the Russian invation, most of them had more contact with the real and full history and they changed their minds. Now Russia is using that complicated historical context in order to push the narrative that all Ukrainians are Nazis and all of them hate jews.
In fact, like Zelensky said during the interview, lots of these jews, who had been forced to speak Russian and were forbidden to practice their religion during the USSR/communist occupation, fled to Israel after the collapse of the communist empire. They fled not only from Ukraine, but also from the other newly independent ex-USSR republics. After 45 years of Russian oppression, all of them spoke Russian, next to their own countries’ languages which were forbiddenin public (the obligatory language was Russian). That’s the reason why so many jews in Israel speak Russian.
@clashreport Indeed. You can say a lot of things about Graham. But one thing that he definitely DID like was the war machine. 😅 Good thing he was on Ukraine‘s side.
🇺🇦❄️ Zelensky, in an interview with Sky news, explained the resignation of Fedorov:
“First of all, we had to prepare for a very severe winter, and no one can even imagine what the winter will be like...
I had a serious problem — not for days or weeks, but for months — in the cooperation and interaction between the Chief of the General Staff and the Ministry of Defense.
There are certain issues that we have to solve, and they can only be solved if the ministry cooperates with the army. It is impossible to solve this on one side.
The main challenge is mobilization. We may face another 500,000 Russian military personnel.
We need a new attitude to mobilization and new measures. I need unity between these two institutions.
The second point is air defense. We do not have enough air defence systems.
I do not have time for negotiations. "Listen, I don't have time to listen to one side first and then the other, because these two sides have to meet not every day, but every hour until our skies are protected.
I don't need to find out who is right and who is wrong."
🚨 It’s time for the US to give Ukraine access to Patriot Missiles 🚨
After running to the bomb shelter in Ukraine myself several times since being here due to Russian ballistic missiles being launched toward my direction, after feeling my chest tighten as I was woken up in the middle of the night by air raid alarms nearly every night, and after watching the devastation and destruction of American businesses in Ukraine by Russian Ballistic missiles, it is my opinion that the United States should give Ukraine more Patriot missiles.
Patriots are purely defensive systems that intercept Russian ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones targeting Ukrainian cities, power plants, and civilians. They save lives, protect critical infrastructure, and force Russia to expend expensive munitions for diminished results, without enabling Ukrainian strikes into Russia or putting American troops at risk.
This support also counters a direct threat to Americans. According to US officials and Ukrainian intelligence, Russia has provided Iran with targeting intelligence (including locations of US warships, aircraft, and forces in the Middle East) to enable Iranian attacks. Ukrainian intelligence has further documented Russian satellite imagery of US bases in the Gulf being shared with Tehran, correlating with strikes that have killed American service members. Russia and Iran’s deepening military partnership (drones, tech, and now targeting data) links the two fronts: degrading Russia’s war machine in Ukraine reduces its capacity to arm and assist Iran in operations that kill US soldiers. Russia is doing this as Iran is actively plotting to assassinate President Trump and other Americans who support bombing the IRGC. Russia has even amplified some of those assassination threats by Iran.
Providing Patriots is low-risk leverage that defends Ukrainian civilians, raises the cost of Russian aggression, and weakens an axis of evil already costing American lives.
The Ukrainians are willing to shed their blood so Amercians don’t have to.
If Ukraine falls, Russia will replicate what they have done here in other parts of Europe and eventually the US. We have an opportunity now to save more lives, especially future American lives.
Patriot missiles in Ukraine will slow down the spread of multipolarity.
I hope Ukraine is given Patriot Missiles. I never thought I would ever say this, but I truly believe this is urgent and necessary.
@POTUS@DeptofWar please don’t allow Russian aggression to further expand. Their nonstop propaganda is already a form of cognitive digital warfare that is destabilizing cohesion in America.
What will they do next if they aren’t opposed?
