I wrote a thing about restacking Vivino's APIs. Pretty plain vanilla obvious stuff, but if it's something you are considering or you just want to hear how we did it, it may be worth your time. 🙂🍷

@russmonk@edmundedgar There's a lot stupid going on of course, pouring out vodkas and renaming streets with Russian Embassies on them, all rather pointless virtue signaling. Think there's some truth to what he says so this is probably an extreme reaction but some of the quoted claims are as well. 😬
@russmonk@edmundedgar He was off on the invasion actually happening. I think he's somewhat off on this as well. (Ok, technically right but wrong on it being that important)
@chopps I understand and agree. I also believe that once surrendered political cleansing will take place and multitudes would die that way and that will take a generation to heal. At least civilian targets are being avoided for now (with the occasional inevitable failures).
@chopps Occupation is easier to manage then ongoing armed defense. Russians have no appetite for this war, fighting their neighbours and cousins, every day will matter.

@russmonk@Kimtaro You should have heard the audio book, read by an incredibly wooden English bloke that spoke so slowly I listened to the whole thing on 1.5x speed or more.
