History is truly repeating itself.
Thanks to @AyoubKhanMP for raising the Birmingham Four case during his Westminster Hall debate this week.
For those unaware of this grave miscarriage of justice, I encourage you to read @JusticeGap's excellent article:

Why is government ignoring evidence-based reports warning against police control of forensics? There have been two damning reports abt dire state of forensics in last 12m warning about miscarriages of justice. Prof Angela Gallop warns of 'a major misstep' https://t.co/tLlJ6zjjvF
Four missing hours, The footage behind an alleged custody rape!
Andy Burnham has been accused of failing to hold “predatory” police officers to account over a woman’s alleged rape in custody.
Zayna Iman, who waived her right to anonymity in an attempt to bring the alleged perpetrators at Greater Manchester Police (GMP) to justice, told The Telegraph she felt Mr Burnham had let her down after saying he would help her.

Here’s Injustice Jeremy Johnson talking about the supposed “terrorist connection” in the Palestine Action case yesterday.
He’s just delivered a blatant travesty of justice to help the British state — while destroying his own credibility. Will he get a seat in the House of Lords?
Having refused to recuse himself because of bias, because he held he wasn't biased, Injustice Johnson then handed out savage prison sentences.
He manipulated and rigged the trial, keeping the jury in the dark about the 'terrorist' connection of the offences, based on the fictitious claim that they were trying to influence the British government.
Johnson is a legal savage in a long line of judges whose only instinct is the protection of the British state and its support for the genocidal state of Israel.
We have to right to get these sentences overturned and the trial declared unfair.
This is British 'justice', red in tooth and claw
🚨 At today's sentencing of the Filton four, Mr Justice Johnson dressed an unprecedented, politically engineered outcome in the language of proportionality, regret and judicial duty - a masterclass in rhetorical misdirection. Four activists were branded terrorists for fulfilling an obligation international law places on us all, solemn acknowledgements of their sincerity paired with sentences that ensured exactly that outcome.
The Undercover Policing Inquiry was established in 2015 after a review identified ‘appalling practices in undercover policing’. In this blog, Aneka Thirurajah and Ailsa McNeil explain the hearings to date in Tranche 3 and what to expect when they restart in autumn 2026 https://t.co/L6Hz914t4D
A Miscarriage Of Justice sentencing Palestine Action Activists as terrorists. They Are Not. British Jews serving in IDF are the terrorists but no prosecution against them. Never forgive what Labour Party has done.
We must fight the evil power Israel & Zionists hold in Britain.
Why did CCRC reject innocent Andy MalkInson 3 times??? Something seriously wrong with a system that allows this.
Innocent ppl are being convicted of crimes they DID NOT commit!
Where is the help for these ppl?
Something needs to change!!!
Yvette Cooper justified the ban on Palestine Action by saying the group engages in violence, but two juries have now cleared activists of any violent intent.
Those activists could nonetheless be sentenced as terrorists despite the ban on Palestine Action being ruled unlawful by the High Court.
The UK government's politico-judicial campaign against Palestine Action is in disarray but the effort to weaponise terrorism laws against activists continues.

Bishop Joanne Grenfell has made a brilliant maiden speech in the House of Lords. ‘Miscarriages of justice aren't abstract legal concepts but lived human experiences. They concern individuals who maintain innocence while navigating a system slow, complex & difficult to penetrate.'
