63 Days

After 63 days, the @UniofNottingham served eviction notices on students protestors camped on the Jubilee Campus.

As the bulk of the camp was packed up, a small group of students are hanging on until the bailiffs arrive.

Yesterday our branch voted to give our employer until 1 September to resolve our dispute or we significantly escalate industrial action.

ASOS continues but we have suspended the action planned for this week given management are happy to sit out one-off strike days.

During ACAS talks today, attended by UCU's General Secretary & President, yet again no tangible offer was made that could move us to ending our dispute. Of much greater concern is a risk of escalation after the employer suggested pausing our recognition agreement.
