Mento Labs marked its second anniversary 🎂

Right from the start, the goal has been to create innovative local currency stablecoin solutions for users who don't have traditional financial resources available.

Here are just some of the many goals we crushed this year:

🔹 Earlier this year, $cKES and $PUSO stablecoins launched on the Mento Platform. Two more are coming: cCOP (Colombian Peso) and cGHS (Ghanaian Cedi).

🔹 Mento's $cUSD has reached 3 million holders, and @MiniPay surpassed 3.5 million users across Africa.

🔹 $cUSD reached over 850,000 active addresses in the past month, making Mento the second most-used stablecoin platform globally.

🔹 The Mento dApp was officially launched on @minipay allowing users to interact with the Mento ecosystem directly.

🔹 MENTO token rewards and cUSD campaigns rewarded Mento community.

🔹 The Mento Labs website is now looking better than ever before with a fresh revamp.

As 2025 approaches, Mento plans on:

🔹 Running more pilot programs and expanding use cases of Mento's decentralized stablecoins
🔹 Deepening community engagement through the Mento governance and developing user activation campaigns
🔹 Launching additional local currency stablecoins on Mento across the globe
