Why doesn’t Jorhat have proper e-rickshaws, city buses or AC buses? Almost every major city has some form of organized public transportation, while people in Jorhat still have to struggle with this system.

Jorhat has one of the worst public transportation systems

And the bigger problem is connectivity. You can travel only from one fixed point to another. If you need to go to an inner road or another nearby location that isn’t on the route, you have to take another rickshaw which makes travelling inconvenient and more expensive.
