Hii, Idk how far this will go but let me just put it out here.
On Saturday a lady on my Snapchat sent me link to help her click saying it’s a voting link and I clicked on it and even filled my mail details into it as it requires I do, without thinking much of it….cont’d
funny enough, these are the kinds of people founders end up rewarding.
not the believers.
not the ones who educate, explain, build momentum, or give honest feedback.
but the loudest “influencers” with zero shame and even less contribution.
@newton_xyz already made this mistake.
they rewarded a guy like this with thousands of dollars (for farming, and fudding them.
meanwhile, real contributors, real yappers, got nothing.
and now again, the same thing is creeping into @union_build and other pjs.
this guy has never posted anything thoughtful or insightful about the tech, the mission, or the future.
yet he’s top 10 on the leaderboard.
why? because he’s an “influencer.”
because he can pull likes.
and the worst part?
this nonsensè post of his,
basically mocking people who care about a project,
got over 500 likes, 50+ retweets, and hundreds of comments.
do people even read before they engage?
or is this the bar now…
ego, shortcuts, and flexing mediocrity?
to the @union_build team x @0xkaiserkarel:
you better be watching.
because if this is the kind of person that ends up with a bigger reward than those who actually believed in union,
who carried the message, gave feedback, held the line,
then we’ll know exactly the kind of team we’ve been backing.
i’ve always spoken against these influencers.
because tomorrow he’ll make $15k off a project he never cared about,
then turn around and mock his own followers, saying “you didn’t work hard enough.”
no shame.
no depth.
just f@rming, flexing, and fool!ng people.
@Punk9277 & @KaitoAI this is what we’re rewarding in web3, using your platform?
then maybe we all need to stop pretending we’re building something better.
