A Prayer for Clean Vision and Right Perception
Father, clean up the way I see people, situations, and even myself. Your Word says, “The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light” (Matthew 6:22). I don’t want a mind full of darkness because my perception is twisted. Expose every lie, assumption, offense, insecurity, and pride that’s been coloring my vision.
Your Word says, “To the pure, all things are pure, but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure” (Titus 1:15). Lord, purify my heart so I stop seeing evil in everything. Help me stop expecting betrayal, rejection, or drama everywhere I look. Heal the wounds that make me suspicious, bitter, defensive, or quick to judge.
And God, deal with me first. Your Word says, “You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother’s eye” (Matthew 7:5). Show me where I’ve been blind to my own issues while focusing on everybody else. Give me humility to repent and wisdom to see clearly.
I reject confusion, paranoia, pride, and deception. I refuse to let trauma, anger, or fear become my lens. Holy Spirit, sharpen my discernment without making me cynical. Teach me to see with truth, love, wisdom, and self-control.
I declare my vision is being healed. My mind is being renewed. I won’t call darkness light or light darkness. I see clearly, judge rightly, and walk in wisdom by the Spirit of God. GLORY!! Thank You Jesus! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
You keep crying, "Lord, speak to me!”
But the truth? You don’t want His voice, you want Him to agree with yours.
You interrupt Him with your fears.
You override Him with your opinions.
You drown Him out with your endless complaints.
Then you dare say, “Ang tahimik ni Lord.”
No, you are just too full of yourself to hear Him.
You want direction, but you won’t be still.
You want answers, but you won’t surrender.
You want clarity, but you’re addicted to your own noise.
God is speaking.
But your pride is louder.
📖 “Be still, and know that I am God.” - Psalm 46:10
Not talk more.
Not complain more.
Not control more.
Be still.
Until you silence your ego…
Until you crucify your need to always be right…
Until you stop worshipping your own thoughts…
You will never recognize His voice, even if He’s already shouting right in front of you.
No fake promises.
This year, please make promises that you keep. Don’t give hope to people of things you can't fulfil. It breaks people much worse than anything. I have vouched that, If "I'm making a promise, you have my words".
