#OneWordReview...
#Toxic: DISAPPOINTING.
Rating: ⭐️⭐
Yash is ROCKING in #ToxicTheMovie – he's the heartbeat, the lifeline... Ferocious action, engaging in parts... BUT #Toxic is body beautiful minus soul... Falls flat in the second half... #Yash certainly deserved a better script! #ToxicReview
#Toxic is NOT conventional cinema – you realise that right at the outset... Director #GeetuMohandas introduces you to a world and its characters that appear unusual, unpredictable, and intriguing.
The first half has several highpoints that stay with you – the first 20-odd minutes and, especially, the interval point are standout moments.
Drama, glamour, conflict, and action – #Toxic has it all, and in abundance… The emotional quotient forms the foundation of the first half, but is unfortunately underdeveloped post-interval.
The second half takes the film's graph downhill… The story stagnates, the writing lacks meat, and what you're served are action sequences… and more action sequences.
It's only when the father-son face-off comes into focus that the film begins to grab your attention all over again... The action that follows is spectacular and ferocious... However, the son's track, in particular, may evoke mixed reactions once the reality dawns upon the viewer.
#Yash returns to the big screen after the blockbuster success of #KGF2, and he is simply marvellous... Charisma, intensity, swagger, and screen presence – #Yash delivers a towering performance and commands every frame.
#KiaraAdvani is top notch, especially in the emotional moments... #Nayanthara excels, and her sibling bonding with #Yash – including the flashback portions – keeps you invested.
#TaraSutaria does well, but her screen time is limited... #RukminiVasanth is wasted – an actress of her calibre deserved far better... #HumaQureshi does very well, although her character had considerably more potential.
The background score is electrifying, while the action sequences are ferocious and visually striking... Among the songs, #Tabaahi stands out.
⭐ Final word? #Toxic is a classic case of style over substance... The film rides primarily on #Yash's immense star power, charisma, and popularity – factors that have also contributed to its FANTASTIC start at the boxoffice... The film will need to sustain momentum once the initial curiosity and fan frenzy settle down.
One think is clear I am not voting for this guy in next election no matter from which party he gets the ticket from, we demand accountability from him!

#WATCH | Haryana | BJP MP from Gurugram, Rao Inderjit Singh, says, "Waterlogging has been occurring in Gurugram for years. The main reason is that development has taken place over the old, traditional drains that used to carry water from the hills to the Yamuna. We are still dealing with the consequences of this development that happened during the Congress era today. The only way to fix this now is to construct underground tunnels, similar to those built for the Metro, along the paths of the old drains to channel the water through those original routes. What we are doing right now is essentially a 'Band-Aid' solution. It offers some relief, but if we block the water in one place, it finds a way out elsewhere. The government is working on this, and we are arranging the necessary funds."
I live in Gurugram, I pay my annual taxes on time, I pay GST, I follow rules as a citizen of Haryana however road outside my society is in bad condition for over one decade, no proper public transport, live cattle and dog problem on street, no drainage, no proper infrastructure and even MP/MLA doesn’t even come to visit conditions of locality but we have been told this is a Millennium City of India @cmohry@NayabSainiBJP
Sir aise to na ban payega developed nation @narendramodi@PMOIndia
Opposition parties vanish post election result, where is @INCHaryana ??
@Suhelseth@_pallavighosh@ShivAroor
@ShivAroor Don’t blame them, they are innocent people. Max tax, zero world class road/drainage system and public transport infrastructure but cost of living is high.
What a shame!
Year after year the same story repeats! No accountability, no structural fixes.
Gurgaon Citizens left to suffer despite contributing 70% to states taxes.
Knock Knock @RaoNarbir Ji please visit and see for yourself when you get time condition of roads and water logging problems.

It was cool explaining PM Modi about the Astrobase’s engine. He said - Tum itna bada bada soch rahe ho, log Vishwas karte hai kya?
I said - Shuru mai nahi karte lekin jab progress hoti h tab krte hai.
Then he said - Investaro ke saath kaisa h? I said we have good investments at Astrobase. No worries. And more so after Skyroot launch. On which he laughed.
Good human level interaction.
Thanks @INSPACeIND for the opportunity.
My best shot of the 2025 Prayag Maha Kumbh Mela from ISS. It is a once in a 144 year Hindu pilgrimage to sacred riverbanks in India and one of the largest events in the world, with millions of people in this single photo!
For decades, India was measured by how far it was from the global frontier.
That is changing.
In sector after sector, the question is no longer whether India can catch up, but whether the world can keep up with the scale and speed at which India is building.
The world’s fastest-growing major economy.
The largest road network.
The largest two-wheeler market.
The largest electric three-wheeler market.
The largest renewable-energy park.
The largest active IPO market by listings.
The fastest railway electrification drive.
And increasingly, global benchmarks are being set in India.
In 2026, India moving from the periphery of the global system to its centre.
