People here keep talking about discrimination but in many cases, they themselves discriminate. Once some people become financially well, they refuse to marry within their own community and instead look for a girl from the general category

My husband always visited temples, and no one could stop him. It is the poor who face the greatest discrimination, whether they belong to GC or the SC/ST. Reforming the reservation system is the need of the hour."

Every time a wealthy SC person receives the benefit of reservation, a poor from GC loses that opportunity. This is the reality of reservation 🙏

1) IITs should focus solely on technical education and engineering. The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (H&SS) should not be part of IITs. Institutions established to produce engineers should remain free from ideological or political influence.

2) In NEET-PG 2025, candidates with scores as low as –40 out of 800 were allowed to participate in PG counselling. A negative score was considered qualifying.

These extremely low scores, at which seats were actually allotted, indicate a serious crisis in academic standards. A reasonable minimum qualifying merit should be established to maintain the integrity of medical education and the healthcare system.

3) Regulating the coaching mafia is much needed. In several major examination scams investigated over the years, authorities have uncovered organized networks involving middlemen, insiders from the system, and links to coaching centres or private tuition operators. These networks have repeatedly exploited students' aspirations for profit.

4) Either remove or reform the UGC Promotion of Equity Regulations. They are one-sided regulations. If protection against caste-based discrimination does not include General category students on campuses, the regulations will be vulnerable to misuse, similar to the SC/ST Act. They could be exploited to settle personal grudges and destroy careers.

महिला का विवाह हो चुका था लेकिन अभी वह अपने ससुराल नहीं गई थी और दिनभर इंस्टाग्राम और फेसबुक पर लगी रहती थी ओमान का रहने वाला एक शातिर जेहादी मोहम्मद इस्माइल ने उनसे चैटिंग के द्वारा अपने प्रेम जाल में इस कदर फसाया उसका इस तरह से ब्रेनवाश किया और उसे इस तरफ मुस्लिम इस्लाम धर्म के तरफ डायवर्ट कर दिया कि वह घर पर ही ऑनलाइन कुरान की आयतें याद करने लगी

और एक दिन मोहम्मद इस्माइल ने उसे वहां का वीजा भेज और उसे उसका पहले पासपोर्ट बनवाया और कहा कि तुम ओमान मेरे पास चली जाओ और वह लड़की घर वालों के चुपके से ओमान जाने के लिए निकल गई

वह तो अच्छा था कि इमीग्रेशन अधिकारी की सतर्कता से वह नहीं बच गई

Very happy to report the presence of natural gas in Sri Vijayapuram-3 an exploratory well drilled by Oil India Ltd. 15 km off the east coast of the Andaman Islands at a water depth of 355 meters.
Initial production testing of the well at the depth of 1900 plus meters in the Eocene formation has established the presence of natural gas through continuous flaring.
Oil India is carrying out gas sampling to assess the composition & calorific value of gas and to carry out isotope studies to understand the genesis of the gas.
Under the Samudra Manthan Mission (National Deep Water Exploration Mission) announced by Hon’ble PM @narendramodi Ji on Independence Day 2025, large number of deepwater & Ultra deepwater exploration wells are planned in our offshore basins to fully exploit our hydrocarbon reserves.
Presence of hydrocarbon is now reported in 2(Two) wells out of 3 (Three) exploratory wells drilled by OIL in current exploratory campaign off Andaman Basin.
This presence of natural gas will help us in taking forward our exploration ambitions in coordination with global deepwater exploration experts like @petrobras, @TotalEnergies, @bp_india, @Shell, @exxonmobil and will be a significant milestone in our journey through Amrit Kaal!

Why is the West not curious on the great Indian 🇮🇳 civilization?

This week Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Norway. The government rolled out the red carpet. King Harald invited for lunch. All bigwigs of Norwegian business turned up. This is of course as it should be at such a historic visit.

Rather different was media. No curiosity, no real attempt to understand India. When the third most powerful man in the world visits Norway, you may expect some real interest? An attempt to understand the world’s third largest economy, a global green leader, one of the world’s brightest civilizations??

It’s not that Norway is overrun with visit at this level. Last Indian top visit was Indira Gandhi in 1983. Last Chinese president visit was 1996, last American president was 2009.

Here are some taste bits from Norwegian media:

* Aftenposten the largest newspaper printed a caricature of Modi as a snake charmer, many found it racist and derogatory. The accompanying article (written by an otherwise brilliant journalist) described Modi as a “slightly annoying man” and simply showcased that India is not high on the papers reading lists.

* Norsk rikskringkasting (NRK), the state broadcaster, explained “why prime minister Støre is clearing his desk to receive Modi”. From everyone outside Norway I got exactly the opposite question: Why did Modi use his valuable time in such a small and insignificant place?

* Dagsavisen, a left of center daily, sent a young journalist to throw questions after Modi - claiming that India is 157 on a global democracy ranking. When a ranking is so contrary to common sense - why doesnt she ask those who created the ranking why they spread such nonsense?

I am not aware of one Norwegian journalist closely following India. NOT ONE! How can the public learn more?

Unless you believe democracy only fits a handful of small, homogenous, ultra rich western nations, India is the miracle of democracy. The large, complex, lingustically and religiously diverse nation with many poor people - which has etablished a vibrant democracy and is much less violent than Europe or America.

India can in fact make a claim to be the worlds most homegrown and impressive democracy.

We are entering the Asian century. Unless we Europeans become more curious - to civiliazation, history, politics and economy in the Global South - we will become the big losers of history.
