some people have this warped concept of a good muslim woman being quiet, unseen, and passive. they confuse obedience to ﷲ with obedience to men. they think modesty means being completely invisible, and they associate femininity with silence, introversion, and having weak boundaries. a woman can be deeply god-fearing and still have a strong personality, confidence, opinions, ambitions, desires and a voice of her own. she can be kind and soft without being submissive to everyone, and feminine without shrinking herself to be accepted by everyone. a woman’s piety doesn’t require the erasure of her personality.

1. Dua for Purfication

اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَطَهِّرْ قَلْبِي، وَصَفِّ نَفْسِي
Transliteration:
Allahumma ighfir li, wa tahhir qalbi, wa saffi nafsi.
Translation:
O Allah, forgive me, purify my heart, and cleanse my soul.

You can say this dua after salah or whenever you feel overwhelmed by guilt or desire.
